The challenge was to build a canna-wellness brand from the ground up. Everything from the name to the packaging, had to embody a delightful feeling of wellness, happiness, and ease. We tackled the entire build from the branding and packaging to site and copywriting.

Rolling with consumer trends.

As cannabis continues to be distigmatized, there is a growing embrace of the plant as a true wellness tool. It’s no longer just a stoner’s delight. Cannabis is becoming a mental and physical medicine for the masses. The wellies brand identity and product line was created for that exact demographic.

Naming and Visual Identity

We wanted a name that was not only fun and playful, but able to naturally live in the plural form - highlighting the multi-use experience of a Wellies cannabis preroll pack. With “wellness” being such a broad term, we loved the idea to use the word as a playful fragmentation. It holds strong as a communicative and premium brand name without delving too narrow into a name that may box a customer into a definition of wellness that doesn’t apply to them.
